Getting Back on Track
Well things are starting to look up. I was working at this one vet clinic, but I felt anxious every day and I didn't think I was really getting the training I need so when the 90 days of the trial period came up we parted ways. I was also working full time hours which was killing any chance of writing I had due to the whole fact that all my free time was pretty much spent trying to spend time with the husband or cook or clean house or just being tired. We also have a cute new puppy (an Alaskan Klee Kai - basically a miniature husky) which can be time consuming. Found a job that I can work part time at where hopefully I will be able to learn w
Devious Journal Entry
I'm still trying to decide what I want to do as far as externship goes. On the one hand I could try for an ACE site, still hanging in there and aiming for the ability to do so. ACE sites are honors related and you have to maintain a 3.75 GPA for the tech program. Currently this is on the board. ACE sites I am potentially interested in are:
A teaching hospital (I would have to move either upstate or out to the middle of nowhere somewhere in the vast midwest for the 6-8 weeks that is externship, this is doable if not fun in and of itself). The advantage here would be: Huge variety of skills as they do a lot more than a typical clinic, More equ
Elf List
Step 1.
Make a post in your dA journal (please include this manual - I won’t grant any wishes, if I see no manual). The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your
Back... sort of.
I've been off this site for a while due to the fact I've been insanely busy going to school to become a veterinary technician. I am a study bug. I get called Hermoine and Topanga by my husband, best friend, and roommates. And anyone who knows me and hears this is unsurprised. I tend to hyper focus on one thing so I can be the best I can be at it. My husband insist Topanga is more accurate because Topanga gets a B and she has a FIT. "Doors get kicked and the cat gets sulked at" so yeah that's probably true. I study a lot, I know what I'm capable of, I don't compare myself to others, and I hold myself up to this standard that I have in my head.

Goodness, I'm sorry that I was so late with getting to uploading this, I just scanned it yesterday. I hope that your daughter likes it. Since I wasn't exactly sure how Storm Seeker would turn out.
